The Kick-Off Call
Think of this as our official project launch. It’s a chance for all of us to sync up, confirm goals, and make sure we’re aligned on the vision before we dive in. We’ll run through the project scope one more time to ensure it’s still relevant, especially if some time has passed since our first chat. On the call, you’ll typically meet the core team—usually Chris and Ross—and we’ll clarify who your main point of contact will be. Our goal is to keep things efficient, so we find working with a single decision-maker or a small group of 2-3 is the best way to keep the project moving forward.
The Client Portal
During the kick-off call, we’ll give you a tour of your own personal Client Portal. This is your central hub for the entire project. From here, you can:

The Onboarding Form
After you sign the contract, we’ll email you an onboarding Google Doc. This is our checklist for gathering all the essential assets we need to get started. It covers:

Links to competitor or industry sites you admire to help us nail the design.
🖥️ Technical Details
Info about your domain and hosting setup.
All your files can be uploaded to a dedicated Google Drive folder, which we’ll link directly from your client portal.
Don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers or assets right away! The kick-off call is the perfect time to go through the document together and fill in any blanks. The sooner we can gather these materials, the sooner we can move into the creative phase without delays.
