Blending regal design with awe-inspiring imagery

We refreshed the Household Cavalry Museum’s website with a regal design and powerful imagery, capturing the prestige of this historic regiment.
The problem
While the Household Cavalry Museum’s previous website wasn’t outdated, it lacked impact. The design felt tired, underutilising the museum’s regal brand colours and failing to showcase its wealth of striking imagery. No new photography had been captured, missing the chance to convey the awe and prestige of the regiment. As a result, the site didn’t fully reflect the museum’s historic significance or its appeal to visitors.
The solution
We delivered a refreshed WordPress website that pairs a cleaner, more modern layout with subtle yet impactful use of the museum’s regal colours. To bring the site to life, we captured stunning new photography of key moments and locations — from the Changing of the Guard and Trooping the Colour to the stables, barracks, and exclusive events. With a cleaner design and updated imagery, we created a digital experience worthy of the museum’s prestige.
